Not sure if some of the features aren't here yet or what, but just got my Echo Show 2nd Gen for Christmas & downloaded this eBook. One of the first things mentioned was Voice Training. This isn't in my navigation panel. Later it talks about the built in web browser. "Alexa, open Google Chrome." Echo tells me I need the skill. It doesn't come up in a search for the skill. I'm sure there are other examples, but I closed out the eBook after this. Echo & app all up to date. Frustrating!
Does not provide details regarding the process of setting up contacts and how to tie into existing data. Needs more clarification regarding the nature of the Alexa App especially for Fire 7. What does a contact need to have and do to be eligible for drip in?
I think echo show 2 lack a movies play list or other feature play list is bother , because sometimes you live with other allways talking with echo is annoy .

This was more comprehensive then I desired. I just wanted the nuts and bolts of setting up two speakers, and bass, and didn't want to pursue it further, and I didn't see an explanation for this, we finally just hit and missed it over the phone. Although, if you are doing a whole house with various products, this may be for you. Amazon could do a lot more documentation for first time buyers. They are negligent in this area.
I read this book cover to cover. It was an easy read and full of good information. I signed up for online updates and look forward to learning more abut these amazing products. The only thing I will suggest for future editions is that the author finds a better proofreader as there were several errors.
