Unlike those who may have expected a magic formulary that would aid in curing all ills, this is a good basic book for those discovering the wonders on non allopathic medicine. As a PhD, N MD I use homeopathy where appropriate. It is important to recognize that one cannot read a book and become a physician overnight. After many years of study and clinic, one has only developed the basic tools to diagnose and restore patients to health. Given the years of training and experience required to achieve a rudimentary understanding of the human body, pathology, formularies, case taking, etc. one cannot expect that a single book will provide all the answers. So, this book was written as an introductory short course to homeopathy. A teaser if you will. Nothing more and nothing less. Using the principles in the book to treat onself is OK if one has an understanding of anatomy and physiology, herbal medicine and can objectively and correctly diagnose onself. Medicine, traditional or alternative, is a multi disciplinary art learned throughout the life of the practicioner. One book does not a physician make. Bottom line... the course is pretty good and is a first step in discovering the power of alternative medicine. In this case, homeopathy. I enjoyed it.

Informative....gives you the what and how. Straight talk about homeopathy. Recommended read if your leaning toward the natural and want to avoid manufactored drugs.
I was surprised to see a product like this that was so inexpensive and useful. The corse work is very basic but for someone just starting it would suffice. Also the Information on the different remedies is good and handy to have on the iPad.
This purchase is a huge disappointment. I was expecting a more comprehensive materia medica and instead got something that would be acceptable for a grade-schooler. The table of contents is at the back of the book and it is poorly written. The punctuation and grammar need work. Very distracting to read when the writing is poor. The concept is good, but the product fell short of the mark.
Really wordy. Has some good recommendations, just too much philosophy. Holy cow. How does anyone think of all the words this site wants. Just good socks.
I don't have this book -------- did I pay for it and not receive it ??
Actually I gave it a 0 I didn't understand the book very confusing didn't have clear instructions. No herbal info.
